Today, Galo, Emilie, Zoila and I went to the "mall". I am actually looking for a place that has wifi so I can connect my computer to the internet, work a little and blog too. It's funny that we NEVER go to the mall in SF and we go here in Ecuador. We have a not very good lunch (not s surprise, it's a mall) except for the Nutella ice cream that Emilie bought. There is a small supermarket too. Most of the items are even more expensive than in the USA...how do they do to buy those things? Some Ecuadorians must be making good $$. I find out that indeed, in the food court, I can have free access to the internet. I suspect I will be eating lots of Nutella ice cream in Ecuador :)
After lunch, we catch a cab and go to visit Galo's Tia Isabel. From her house, we can see the famous Tungurahua, and it's smoking! What a trip! Tia Isabel and her adopted daughter Carmernita are on their way out, so we accompany them to the "centro". We go to the Parque Montalvo, and meet more member of the family, hanging out there. We chit chat for a while and stroll around the park. The weather is really nice. Perfect temperature. It's then time to go back home. The girls didn't nap so they are pretty tired and fall like flies at bedtime.
